A network Engineer is responsible for making sure that all networks in his company are functioning properly. He will trouble shoot, fix hardware and software problems and will keep everything up to date. The qualifications for network engineers varies as in most jobs but some of the basic qualifications are a bachelors degree and a Cisco networking certification. Network engineering is usually an Entry level position. some of the major companies that are employing network engineers are places like Cisco Systems, Microsoft, and Google. a lot of companies are employing network engineers as technology is becoming more and more technical and complicated.
